My name is Maria Khan and I am running for OCDSB trustee for Zone 7 because I want to be part of a collective, community effort that will work hard and secure the best for the future of our children.

I have been a dedicated public servant and an active volunteer in our community. I have called Ottawa home for the last 20 years and I live in the south end of the city with my husband and our three sons.

 

Before settling in Ottawa, I completed a B.A. in International Development from St. Mary’s University in Halifax, N.S., and later obtained a Law degree from Cardiff Law School, Wales, U.K.
